 Richard C. Hann, founder of Mr. Fly, Incorporated since 1998, was born and raised in the small southwest coast community of Burgeo, Newfoundland. He started Mr. Fly as a means of supplying quality hand-tied Atlantic salmon flies to stores throughout Eastern Canada.
This family owned and operated Atlantic Canadian wholesaler whose roots started as a wholesaler of fishing equipment, has grown, over the years, to include a full line of hunting supplies and a much expanded camping & fishing section. Our motto was, “if Mr. Fly didn’t carry the product we would do our best to source it for you our valued customers.” With the aid of our 5,000 square foot warehouse we have expanded to include a varied selection of hardware, household, giftware, clothing, toys, seasonal, Christmas, Halloween, live bait and more. We are just about a one-stop shop for local convenience and general stores as well as sport stores. With this in mind our motto has changed to, “If we don’t have it you probably don’t need it.”
